The Independence Party is currently polling at 18.3%, according to a new poll from Market and Media Research (MMR), which is the lowest the party has ever polled for MMR since the pollster’s inception. Meanwhile, most other parties saw a minor rise in support, although some took a small dip as well.

While the Independence Party fell from 19.1% in last month’s poll to 18.3% today, they were not the only ones to see a decline in support. The Social Democrats also saw a dip in support, to a greater degree, going from 16.8% to 14.8%. At the same time, the Centre Party declined from 13% to 12%.

Other parliamentary parties saw brighter results, but not to any tremendous degree—most of these rises in support were just over 1%, even after factoring in the margin of error. The Left-Greens, who lead the coalition government, went from 11.5% to 12.8%; the Pirate Party went from 11.3% to 12.4%; the Progressive Party went from 10.4% to 11.8%; and the Reform Party went from 9.3% to 10.2%. The People’s Party stayed virtually unchanged, going from 4.1% to 4%.

Overall support for the ruling coalition—comprised of the Left-Greens, the Independence Party and the Progressives—went from 38.8% to 43.7%.
